With over 15 years in the industry, I’ve honed my skills in creative leadership, directing film and stills, writing, for content, commercials and shows —from long-form to short film.
I’ve worn many hats, from Coordinator to Head of Creative, across reality TV, advertising, broadcast, and social media, making me a bit of a rare find and go-to for agencies, brands, and production houses.
I’ve had the thrill of working on internationally acclaimed campaigns and setting up creative departments and in-house teams as a consultant for agencies, one of Australia’s biggest brands, Telstra.

This one still makes me cry.
Telstra is at the centre of connection. It’s our brand DNA. This campaign was not only designed to shine a lot on loneliness, but to start a conversation.
The campaign consisted of a Hero video and character stories. We built a hub which housed tools, reports and interviews with Dr. Michelle Lim, Psychologist and Loneliness expert, sharing her knowledge and guidance on the topic and how to help people experiencing it directly or through a loved one.

Repositioning the new position.
‘14 Princess Cruises said that a cruise is not good enough unless you ‘Come Back New‘. In ‘16 the marketing team engaged us to help bring this promise to life in a new way. The brief (in brief); ‘Don’t make it feel like a cruise ad.’ A campaign that would set the cruise line apart from the rest. We focused on location and the transformative moment you experience when you see something new.
This campaign was supported by a 15sec price point vignette as well as 6 crew stories for the social campaign.

Cracking open a new market.
Seen as the poor man’s beer to the target audience, we were tasked with developing a brand campaign that was aimed at Thailand’s ‘Hi-So‘ (High Society), a segment of the market usually only targeted by high end brands. Our creative strategy was to show them what they were missing out on… ‘Taste The Unexpected‘ allowed us creative licence to show that with Chang you’re bound to have a good ‘unexpected’ time.
The campaign featured ooh placements & broadcast. Intended to run for one year, it was so successful they ran the campaign for 2 more years and extended it to Singapore and England for the Premier League

FFS, 5G did not cause the Coronavirus.
What started out as a whisper on the internet, this conspiracy grew into fully fledged insanity, insanity that at one stage connected bats and toilet paper to 5G. Something needed to be done, so we responded with comedy, and it went viral. Globally viral. 5G content series was talked about everywhere from French Radio to the WHO - who invited our 5G expert, Mike Wood to talk about the effects of combatting conspiracy with humour. A wildly successful campaign that could not have happened without the brilliant collaboration between us and the talent.

Creativity is incredibly important to me and I make a point of carving out private time to make stuff.
Sunny Dispositions is our production company that has no purpose other than to just create. Admittedly, yes, it is a terrible business model. But creativity has never been about making money, its about telling great stories in whichever way possible. Gist, is a story written by my production partner and Co-Founder of Sunny Disposition, and directed by us. Its garnered international recognition and was a semi-finalist in the Aus independent film festival.

It’s your Prime Time
ESPN needed a Channel rebrand, with pretty close to zero budget, and armed with sports footage and an idea (involving lighting basketballs on fire and a scanner) that could evoke the same chaotic intensity when watching your favourite sport, we set out to create ESPN Australia’s own look and feel for channel. ‘It’s Your Prime Time’ targeted the sports fan that didn’t hold back, positioning the channel as your time to watch and feel the sport you love.
